Google made whopping revenue (Net Profit) of USD 8.14 Billion in its 1st quarter of year 2012. The company reported its Profit earnings and has declared that Google as company now has $49.3 Billion in cash in their bank accounts that reside within U.S. Googles revenue rose 24% when compared to the revenues of Q4 2011. Seems google is growing better than it is expected.

Obviously google does not counts or shows up their oversees revenue due to Tax savings.

You should be aware that, their are thousands (if not millions) of small & big Public Filesharing websites, which do host Movies, Music, Games, eBooks & Softwares, plus many other things too. However, due to recent events Filesonic closed its Revenue sharing model, followed by Fileserve and few others to name.

For those who are not aware, Revenue sharing model by the above file-hosts helped many small time uploaders to Upload their content (i.e. Movies, Music or anything), and as a result they were paid by File-Hosting companies via their revenue sharing model (which unfortunately has closed now). Due to that, many uploaders who were earning good revenue, had their major revenue source cut off!.

However, companies like DepositFiles, Uploaded.to are still offering file-sharing incentives to their uploaders. Filepost.com is too among those.

However, many of you may wonder that how & why credit card companies (banks) offer glowing offers and incentives to their customers. What exactly is the revenue source of CC companies, and how exactly do they net their customers in their schemes. Why Credit Card companies make calls and request new customers to choose their cards over the other.

P.S: I just pointed out some of latest ways to start up a Tech Career, and believe me thousands of Asians (Indians) are doing great business mostly by at least one of above methods. So all i did was reminded all ways above, so maybe someone can utilize his/her hidden skills, and start-up one’s own career.

You should be aware of the fact that Google did actually banned publisher accounts permanently for Websites & Blogs that do Copy/Paste or Plagiarize content and articles from other websites. Thus, mind it that Copying others articles or content won’t work anymore for Google Adsense Publishers, and indeed this is a good thing to discourage de-valuation of Genuine Content Writers.

The second reason for these bans is because, many persons/groups started selling Pre-Approved Google Adsense accounts. Finally Google found this abuse of their service and decided to tighten their policies & terms for setting up new accounts in third world countries like India/Pakistan/Bangladesh where this had become a common profession by many, who would sell a Google Adsense account for as much as $10/account.

10 Suggestions to get Google Adsense Account: (especially India).

1. Buy your Domain & Hosting from a reputable host, such as HostGator.com or Site5.com, or any host that you prefer with 99% guaranteed uptime. Yes uptime is very important, because if you site will remain down or slow, the more chances will be that Adsense team might dis-approve your account while reviewing your account.

2. After much hyped ‘Google Panda Update’ or also known as ‘Google Farm’ where google implemented tight rules, now it has become to buy a Premium Template instead of using a free one. Free templates that are used by many are being discouraged because of chances that Google might assume it as a Copied website or blog. Thus choosing a Premium template will have better, rich features and greater chances of better SEO, and this will be proof that you are a professional blogger / webmaster.

3. Some people might Disagree with me, but if you want to Blog on a sub-domain than prefer to use Blogger.com instead of WordPress. After mass ban-out of Blogs running adsense, what i found was that most of them were WordPress one’s, and yet the fact that Blogger is owned by Google itself. Thus i will recommend using Blogger.com over wordpress, but still the choice is yours if you have a Premium Template for WordPress, than that should be fine with unique content.

4. Getting your domain name registered on your Own Real Name & Address, and same should be used for Adsense account. This adds to the Trust level that Adsense team might evaluate you being a genuine publisher.

5. Every new domain registered will require atleast 6 months of age to get qualified for Adsense Approval. Yes the hardest part is, IF you are located in INDIA, Pakistan or CHINA than you will have to use a Domain name that is older than 6 months of registration, OR if you are using a NEW Domain, than you will have to WAIT for 6 months, and than you should apply for Adsense Application Otherwise chances are you will get Rejected. (6 Months policy is new part of strict Adsense policies for these countries).

6. You will have to Write Unique & Quality content during the first 6 months. I will recommend you to see your Work as a Passion and heatedly and delicately write in unique Articles & Content, because it will be very easy for you to get your Account approved once you have worked hard during this phase.

7. Good user experience, is now a part of Adsense Quality Guidelines. Choose a Neat & Clean template that could help you build some solid impression on your Users as well as Adsense review team. (for information: Adsense did recently banned a lot of publishers claiming that their Layout/Site Design was poor & had bad user experience).

8. Do not apply for Adsense account if your website has little or very low content. Make sure you have well written, well managed content, and also make sure that your blog has Privacy policy, Copyright policy page, Disclaimer plus a Contact Us page.

9. Do not try to fake Adsense by creating accounts at sites like Flixya or Docstoc, because chances are that you will be caught & banned once Google team finds your Blog running ads.

10. If your website has more than 400 unique visitors/day, and gets real traffic (& not from Facebook/other social networks mainly) than chances are you will get approved quickly. I have learned that, those sites with Total junk or misleading traffic such as Facebook links or Twitter, and has little real traffic gets hard chances of approval. So make sure you have Unique content, well optimized for Search Engines, and with little Word of Mouth you can get worthy paying traffic.

Lastly again, i hope the information i shared is based on my experience, and i will want everyone to keep working within Google Adsense policies. Try making a quality website and i am sure Google will pay you the same in response.

Which means, as per old policy, the Maximum charge on almost any amount of MassPay transaction was USD 1. Which indeed was a great facility and service for both small scale and large scale publishers, buyers and sellers as well.

New Paypal Masspay Fee(s): Effective October 12th 2011

Minimum: 2% of amount OR 1 USD (example: 40$ transaction gets a $0.80 fee charged).

Maximum: 2% of amount OR 50 USD (example: $200 transaction gets $4 fee charged).

If one sends out USD 2500 via Masspay, than a maximum of USD 50 will be charged as FEE.

As a result of this updated Paypal payment policy, this will greatly impact almost everyone who does depends on Masspay option, and does sends over $50/transaction. This will include small publishers, buyers and sellers and almost all those Freelancers who do hardworking projects for little fees and work at competitive prices. On the other hand, this change will result in atleast Paypal’s 5x (5 times) more profits than what they were making earilier.

Whatsoever, i am truely sadened by this change in fee policy, and assume that Paypal is taking maximum advantage by enforcing a blackmailing Fee, mainly due to its monoply and no other competitive options.

Summary:

I wont drag this topic too long, since i have already described this concept in detail, in past many posts here on this website. For those, who did not went through my previous posts, here is a little summary,

First, we will proceed with setup and register a Domain (e.g. lets say i suggest a domain: carsyellow.com), and supposing you chose the subject of your blog on cars. Once the subject of domain and the domain name has been registered, you should install wordpress, and choose a relevant freely available Template/Skin. Next, you need to write in some useful articles or some bit unique content. Next, apply for Google Adsense, and place their Ads between your content. Last step: start working on your website publicity, and this makes you make a lot of $’s.

Now let me explain all this roughly summarized concept with clear details below, step by step:

Steps to Setup your own Website or Blog and start earning money:

1. Look for a suitable domain name.

First, you need to lookup for an available (.com/.net/.in/.info) domain name at http://www.godaddy.com/

Once you have found your desired available domain name, proceed to step 2.

2. Register your domain name & hosting.

Now all you will need is a valid & working credit card, to Register your domain and hosting, at Godaddy.com. The domain and hosting costs roughly $7/month, which obviously you will have to pay every month in order to keep your website running. Now make sure, you have successfully registered your Domain & Hosting. (make sure you get your Hosting FTP & Domain Control Panel details from godaddy after you have paid invoice).

3. Installing WordPress Blog Script on your Website.

Once you are sure, that you got your Hosting FTP login details (from Godaddy.com), now you need to Upload & Install wordpress blog script on your website. [For those who don't know about wordpress. WordPress is the basic Script/Engine which runs a website or blog. Today many popular websites run using WORDPRESS. So now, First download the latest version of WordPress blog from http://wordpress.org/download/

Once downloaded, you need to extract the zip folder, and Upload that to the FTP account of your hosting.

5. Post in your Content

Now the most creative part. Writing in bit unique content. Now once your blog is setup and running (with your custom theme), now you need to post in your content, which could be Articles, Music, Videos, Games, Movie Reviews, Wallpaper Gallery or almost anything, whatever you want, depending on the wordpress theme you chose. You just need to make sure that, your content MUST NOT BE COPIED exactly. You can copy the ideas, and basic theme of others work, but make sure you re-create it in your own style, because otherwise you will be punished by Google Adsense, which does not allows websites based on copied contents.

6. Apply for Google Adsense.

Yes, the easier and warmer part. Once, you have your content or articles ready, now apply for Google Adsense by using the following URL:

(For those do not know, what Google Adsense actually is, let me explain a bit for them. For example, once you have applied for Adsense and you got the Approval email, than you will be given access to Google Adsense Account, from where, you can Copy the AD CODE, and paste that ADCODE at appropriate positions on your Blog/Website). Now, when a visitor (user) of your website, views your content, than he might like those Advertisements (displayed by Google), and you will get paid for each click or impression that is served.)

7. Advertising  your Website (Getting more Traffic/Visitors to your website).

Now, all your efforts will be paid off, once your website starts getting some traffic. All you need to make sure is to bring in genuine and real traffic/users, who actually will like to see your content.

Tribalfusion, which did opened its doors way back in 2001 (more than 10 years ago),  has now turned into a much valued & reputed ad-network, both for Advertisers and Publishers around the world. Tribalfusion’s Publisher policies such as “placing ads Above the fold” and “1 impression per page per unit” makes this ad-agency the best choice for an Advertiser looking to run CPM campaigns.

My  Experience (as Publisher):

Obviously, i won’t be disclosing my URL here, but i am about to share some of useful information based on my experience working out as a Publisher with TribalFusion over past many years.

In order to summarize all good and bad things, i will simply put them in two categories, Pros and Cons:
Pros (+points) :

1. High eCPM rates; with normally  $1.5/CPM to as low as $ 0.22/CPM (gross). gross includes Ad-network’s share of 45%. Which means, you get 55% of  0.22$/cpm in that case, which is minimum depending on geographic locations. I have seen CPMs high as $5.00/CPM for a 300×250/160×600 ad unit for U.S/Canada/U.K & Australia target campaigns, and to lowest at $0.22/cpm for Asia (Indian traffic).
2. Timely payments, never is the payment delayed or you have to manually contact them to issue you payments. Net 45 billing.
3. Support treats you as a Valued Publisher.
   
4. Quality and great, brand based advertisements; Majority of  advertisements are run by brands i.e. Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Intel, emaar, Lufthansa, MasterCard, Honda, Toyota, Pepsi Co, and so so many more big names.
5. Pretty fast adservers and detailed reports; The newly launched Tribal Fusion’s Expo9, reporting system provides you Live reports for the inventory that is being served at the moment. The reports are deep enough to even show the campaigns by advertisers that are running in, and can be sorted in various ways. Screenshot below (thanks for TJav) for sharing this.

Now lets discuss some negative aspects of  Tribalfusion’s performance and policies.

Cons:

1. Tribal Fusion’s fill rate is always on the lower side for me this is around 50% (when comparing with Adsense which is 95%).  However, all un-filled inventory could be re-directed to 3rd party ad-networks using Tribal Fusion’s default ads setup options.
2. Pays only via Check or Bank Wire.  There is no option for Paypal, which is should.
3. No chance for small websites with little traffic. Tribal fusion only accepts websites with handful of traffic and quality content.
4. Tribalfusion works on 55:45 revenue share. TF takes a big chunk of percentage with itself which is the highest of almost all CPM networks working around. However this can be ignored when looking at overall, end results.

To sum up, Tribalfusion really does out performs almost all CPM networks, and currently ranks as the best and top most choice for a Publisher. However, when comparing Google Adsense vs Tribalfusion, than this all depends on the type of  Traffic and Content your website has. If you have a website with traffic mainly from digitally small countries i.e. Iran, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Syria, Pakistan etc than this is not for you. However websites that are greatly designed (graphically) and has good traffic from United States, India, United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, U.A.E etc than this should do wonders for you.

Definitely, this has become a bigger game involved. The bigger game ? Maybe some big investors ? But can the investors be so big (in terms of wealth) that they could actually Hike the prices of something huge like Gold.

Well No! The major reason of Gold price increases are because of something MIGHTY like CHINA’s involvement into buying out gold into its own deposits.

Reportedly, China this year decided to increase its Gold deposits to more than 10 times of what it currently has in its country reserves. Chine had about 30-40 Billion $ worth of gold in its reserves compared to its huge $2.8 Trillion economy. Thus it plans to multiply the figure by ten, and soon have the Gold reserves worth somewhere near $400 Billion.

On the other side the Gold mining outputs are on decline, resulting in shortage of gold, and so the price hikes.

Now the question is…

Investing in Gold market a safe investment ?

Yes, analysts are very confident regarding the predictability of gold prices in near future, which are again expected to double where it stands today. Gold prices are expected to be at least twice much costlier in next 2 years , than where they stand today. Moreover, when some solid superpower like China is involved than at least I can safely claim that Gold is the most safest option today from a investor’s point of view.

Should i Buy Gold Today as my Primary investment  option?

Definitely, go for it today, buy PURE GOLD BRICKS and i am sure you wont be disappointed, and would result in doubling out your profits.

Mostly the online discussion forums hold a high PR value of which you can take full advantage by adding up your link url as your forum signature. Lets suppose you run a “Cars Review Website or blog”, now all you need to look for a popular CAR/Auto vehical related Discussion forum website, and join in as a member.  Once you have done this, now setup your Forum Signature containing your own website URL. This gives you many back links, which can divert good traffic as well as search value.

12. Create Groups

All search engines inlcuding Google, Yahoo or Bing have their own group services (just like Google Buzz) where you can setup a Group of people with similar mind set. (.e.g all Gadget interested people considering you have a Gadget selling/reviewing website).  Now, make a group and share all your related stuff maintaining your own social circle.

13. Buy Links or Traffic

Considering you have little money to invest, this could help a lot in buying some good Link Backs from Quality PR5+ websites which could result in High Google Page Rank of your own website, and also get you good traffic directly from a website. BUT Make sure that you should buy Targetted traffic which is the most important thing. If you have a Cars/Auto related website, than you should get a backlink from a car/auto related website itself, otherwise it wont be of any good use.

14. Link Exchange

Dont have money to invest to buy traffic ? Than probably Link exchange is more viable solution for you. All you need is to contact other webmasters (maybe friend webmasters) or you can contact any webmaster through their website contact form (but keep it mind, only those websites with Link exchange with you which will have Same traffic as of yours). Because big websites will not link exchange with a small traffic website, obviously. So keep this is mind, but link exchanges with small websites can make a small website get big traffic at some point.

15. Traffic Exchange Programs

Do you know that you can get some traffic for free from Traffic Exchange programs, which are completely free. Today there are a lot of websites with huge traffic mainly sourced from Traffic exchange website such as: MGID. Yes join MGID, put their Photo WIDGET on your website. 16. PPC Advertising Program

Pay per click advertising can be very very usefull in getting targetted traffic to your website, but on other hand can be very costly for those who have limited advertising budget. However i have seen and heard of success stories from people who did advertised on Facebook through there PPC advertising program, and got quality traffic in return.

17. Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking can get you quick backlinks. Social bookmarking sites like Digg, Twitter, Reddit and Stumble will help you get many quick backlinks. Try this as well.

18. Squidoo and HubPages

These high PR web 2.0 websites can do a lot to increase the traffic of website or blogs. You simply need to go to Squidoo or Hubpages, signup for an account, and write in a 500 words article containing 1 or 2 back links in those articles back to your Main website. This way you can get some traffic as well as search PR.

19. Press Releases Submission / Distribution

Get your website promoted by Press Release distribution networks such as prweb.com (though this is not free) but will get you huge exposure throughout the world even through Print media.

20. Free or Paid Classified

Advertise your website or product through Free classified websites or paid ones. Google this out for more details…

My reason to write this article was to just throw in a simple reminder of any points or ways which i could remember could help you get some traffic. Unfortunately i do not have enough time to throw in deep details all these 20 ways to boost website traffic,  but all i did was quick details to be pointed out, so that anything might click your mind and remind you something important which you could have missed otherwise.
